To make a report actionable, please include if possible:
- the tool concerned (Heat setting, ISO drawing, Cone flat pattern…);
- the values entered: process, material, thickness, standard, diameter…;
- the value obtained and the one you expected;
- your phone model and the app version (shown in Settings).
A screenshot is often worth more than a long description.
Frequently asked questions
A calculated value looks wrong.
This is the most useful feedback we can receive. Every tool shows a calculation detail with the trade rule used and each correction applied: attach it to your message so the step at fault can be identified immediately.
Does the app work without a connection?
Yes, entirely. All calculations run on the device and no data is sent to a server. It is a design choice: the app must stay usable in the workshop, inside a tank or in an area without network.
Which standards do the calculations rely on?
Depending on the tool: ASME B16.9 and B36.10 (fittings and pipe wall thickness), ISO / EN 10253, SMS 3008 (sanitary tube), EN 1011-1 (heat input), ISO 2553 (symbols) and ISO 14175 (shielding gases). The reference used is shown in each module.
Can the app adapt to the way I weld?
Yes. Record in the Heat setting module the amperages you are comfortable with and, if possible, your travel speed. The app infers your style and adjusts its suggestions, including on thicknesses you have never welded. A setting is never carried over from one process to another, nor from steels to aluminium.
How do I delete my data?
No data leaves your device. Uninstalling the app erases everything stored locally: settings, calibrations and preferences.
