Data collected

None. The app collects, transmits and sells no data:

• no user account, no sign-up;
• no server connection: all calculations run on the device;
• no advertising trackers or analytics tools;
• no access to contacts, location or microphone;
• the camera is only used to scan pipe markings (Material traceability tool), on demand: the image is analysed on the device, never stored or transmitted.

Data kept on the device

Your preferences and records are stored locally only: language, units, theme, active piping standard, welding reference settings, measured speeds, customised quick access, jobs, calculation history and scanned pipes.

They never leave the device and are deleted when the app is uninstalled.

Permissions

WeldUp Pocket asks for a single, optional permission: the camera, only if you use marking scan (Material traceability). Reading is continuous, no photo is taken; the image is analysed on the device and discarded. Refusing this permission stops nothing else from working. No internet, location or file access is required.

Liability

WeldUp Pocket is a calculation aid for qualified professionals. The values provided are indicative and replace neither the applicable codes, nor qualified welding procedures (WPS/PQR), nor the instructions of the engineering office. The user remains solely responsible for checking results before any execution.
